We are delighted to share some exciting news. We have officially moved into our new home at Loreburn Hall in Dumfries.
The move marks an exciting new chapter for the club. Finding a venue that could provide enough space for safe shooting and equipment storage was no easy task, but with the support of Dumfries and Galloway Council and the wonderful team at Loreburn Hall, we are now fully settled in and ready to shoot. We are so grateful to everyone involved for their hard work in making this move possible.
From the moment we first visited Loreburn Hall, it felt like the perfect fit. The fact that our club shares the same name as our new venue has made the move feel even more special, and our members are genuinely thrilled by the connection. It has brought excitement to the whole club.
We would like to give a huge thank you to Sandy, Ian, Sharon, and Simon at Loreburn Hall, who could not have been more helpful throughout the move. Their kindness, patience, and enthusiasm made everything run smoothly, and we truly appreciate the warm welcome we have received.
The new hall gives us more space than ever before, meaning we can now enjoy a 30 metre indoor range – a rare opportunity in archery. Having such a large, year-round indoor venue will allow us to keep developing our skills, grow our membership, and share our passion for archery.
It has taken a lot of teamwork and effort to get here, but the result has been well worth it. The committee would like to thank all the members who have helped and supported the move over the past three months. We are thrilled to call Loreburn Hall our new home and look forward to many years of shooting, learning, and laughing together.
